What's the best way to make the perfect cup?

We personally love 3/4 hot water with 1/4 oat milk. Experiment with different ratios to find your ideal balance of creaminess and flavor intensity.

Add your choice of milk or sweetener as desired.


Can I drink this if I'm pregnant or nursing?

While our mushroom-powered Koffee is natural and caffeine-free, there is not a lot of research on pregnancy + functional mushrooms, so we would advise against consuming. We will however be ready and waiting for you on the other side of pregnancy / nursing to help you through those long nights! 🥱


How many cups can I have per day?

We recommend starting with one cup a day to give your body time to adjust to the fiber content (if its not used to a lot of fiber). Then slowly increase as desired. The dose of mushrooms in each serving has been specifically designed to be effective in one cup, but can be increased to multiple cups per day. Listen to your body and adjust as needed.


Is this a small or large dose of mushrooms?

Our formulations have been carefully developed to be truly effective, with precise dosages. With 450 mg of active mushrooms, it's the perfect dosage for a gentle introduction to functional mushrooms, while still allowing you to experience the beneficial effects and maintain good preventive health. If you are looking for more therapeutic or medicinal effects, you can increase consumption to several cups a day.


Does this taste like mushrooms? Or coffee? Or neither?

No, it definitely doesn’t taste like mushrooms!

We have worked long and hard to develop the unique flavour of our Herbal Koffee. It combines the earthy, roasted notes of chicory, barley, and rye with a subtle hint of spices and flowers added.

While it doesn't taste exactly like traditional coffee, it strikes a delicious balance between your familiar coffee ritual and something new and distinctive that we are sure you will love.

 Many of our testers found it to be a satisfying and enjoyable alternative to both coffee and pure mushroom powders.


Can I drink it in the afternoon or night?

Our Koffee is free from stimulants and caffeine so yes, you can consume this any time in the day. Some people are more sensitive to the energising properties of mushrooms however, so we would advise to test it for the first time in the earlier part of the day. The exception to that is our Floral Koffee which contains Reishi: a great pre-bedtime mushroom. 


Are these high quality mushrooms?

We select our organic adaptogens with the utmost care, choosing only the best on the market. We choose the source according to where we can find the best and most bioative mushroom extracts for that specific species of mushroom. For example, our Lion's mane comes from the forests of Scandinavia.

Cultivation conditions, extraction techniques, air and water quality, as well as the polysaccharide content (a key bioactive element for immunity and health) are meticulously considered for each variety to determine the best source.

To ensure their quality and potency, our products undergo rigorous laboratory testing.

We use only extracts from purely the cell wall of the mushroom (not just powders of the mushroom), ensuring optimal bioavailability, and contain only the fruiting bodies (the beneficial part), excluding the mycelium (the less desirable root found in cheaper powders).


Can I take different mushrooms in the same day?

Yes, Chaga, Reishi, and Lion's Mane, have distinct properties and benefits. Incorporating a variety of functional mushrooms into your daily routine can provide a well-rounded range of potential health benefits.


Will this help my digestion?

Our Herbal Koffee contains chicory root powder, which is basically a digestive superhero. Chicory root is packed with a prebiotic fiber called inulin which benefits the gut microbiome and bowel health and regularity. So, if you rely on your morning coffee to keep you regular, Herbal Koffee should do the job just as well!


Are the mushrooms dangerous or toxic?

No :)

Functional mushrooms like Chaga, Reishi, and Lion's Mane have been used for centuries in traditional medicine and are safe to consume. We only source the purest quality, that are third party tested. 


Will this help me lose weight?

Chicory roots are packed with fiber, and they bring a fantastic combo of low calories and minimal fat to the table. This makes them a smart choice for keeping your calorie count in check while still keeping your energy levels up.

Plus, loading up on fiber can help you feel full faster, which is a nifty trick to help you keep your calorie intake on the right track.


Is it gluten-free?

Our Koffee contains chicory, barley, and rye as a base. So while it doesn't contain wheat, it does contain gluten from the barley and rye.


Does it contain any caffeine?

No, our mushroom-powered coffee alternative is caffeine-free. It offers a natural energy boost from active mushrooms without the stimulating effects of caffeine.


Do you use any artificial additives or preservatives?

Mon dieu, no! All of our products are free from artificial additives and preservatives. They are made with completely natural ingredients only.


Is this product suitable for a vegan or plant-based diet?

Yes, our Koffee is vegan and plant-based. It contains no animal-derived ingredients, making it a great choice for those following a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle.


Is it organic?

The vast majority of our ingredients are organic, there are a couple of ingredients that were very long or difficult to obtain as organic for our first production - rest assured we're currently sourcing their organic versions and are working towards 100% organic for subsequent productions.


Can I mix this with other beverages or recipes?
