Is your chocolate lab tested for purity?
Yes. We send our chocolate to accredited third-party laboratories for heavy metal analysis. Our latest tests show cadmium at 10× less than leading French brands and 17× lower than the European safety limit for 75% dark chocolate.
Details: Our lab results measured cadmium at 0.046 mg/kg (≈ 0.92 µg per 20 g serving). By contrast, UFC Que Choisir (2025) found some French chocolate bars containing up to 9 µg per 20 g serving—almost a full day’s tolerable intake for a child.
The EU maximum level for 75% dark chocolate is 0.80 mg/kg, making our result 17× lower.
Are your chocolates vegan?
Yes :)
Where are they made?
Our chocolates are made by hand in France.
We source the cacao from cooperatives in Ecuador and Sao Tomé and our supply chain is completely traceable.
Can I eat them if pregnant?
Yes you most certainly can! They are the best pregnancy snack: they are a convenient and filling snack to keep in your bag.
Don't overdo it with the Hazelnut Mocha though, it's not recommended to consume too much caffeine when pregnant, and this one contains coffee.
Do they contain gluten?
The ingredients in our nut butter chocolates do not contain gluten however they may contain traces of gluten as are produced in an atelier that handles gluten.
